Gutentag friends! I am back stateside after a whirlwind five week European sojourn, which brought me new friends, an appreciation for "football" (soccer), a love for German highways, and a tolerance for guttural accents. It went a little something like this: London to Berlin to Hannover to Berlin to Potsdam to Dresden to Bacharach to Mainz to Frankfurt to Fussen to Munich to Vienna to Prague to Warsaw to Sopot to Warsaw to Krakow to Warsaw.
